As Marie Oliver marketing director captained my look, "Your whole outfit is a party that I wanna attend!" While I do love a good entrance, I equally love a Tinker Bell slip out the back kind of exit. The ride this week has been a wild one. The weekend is here, and as for me, the only entrance I will be making is one into my camo snuggy pants and onto my couch for movie night with my babies!

I really don't know what to say other than if you're not laughing, you're not living. There are no words to describe how much joy my work brings me. Being surrounded by talented artists all the time does so much good for the soul.
Uplifting positivity. I am no therapist. I only have a lifetime of seeking further understanding from them, but this is my advice and personal recipe for seeking joy and heading off all the rest. It's not to say the negative isn't out there for me, but I know this much; dancing, laughter and like-minded, supportive, positive influences are where it's at! Go toward the light!
What can I say? It's been a week! Am I the only one that feels this way? As in Praise The Lord I have an arsenal of super powers in the back pockets of my favorite flare denim trousers? Does it count if I spend (probably way too much of) my time wondering WHAT is going on?! If so, then I can say with total and utter honesty I feel like Wonder Woman most days.
No, I AM Wonder Woman. I've got more than two pocket fulls of unapologetic optimism to slay life's metaphorical dragons every day, even the Devil himself, dare to come my way. Oh, and friends. Don't get me started there. If you count them too, we are talking a battalion of super powers, and you don't want to mess with that. My body, soul, character and mind are mine, but my faith and friends; they are my cape, cuffs, headband and a$$ kicking red boots that giving me extraordinary strength. There is strength in numbers. I have more childhood memories turning the pages of @townandcountrymag than I can recall. As a child, I would cut out their selected runway images and styled jewelry shoots to create my own look books. Town & Country Magazine celebrated their 2022 Jewelry Awards last month and I am in AWE!

I am trying to get caught up here on the Queen City Style, and I am certain it will not ever truly completely happen; there is so much I want to share! Does anyone else find themselves distracted by squirrels with just about every turn they take? Lately, that's me. Most important of all, my two precious peanuts keep me so so busy... I find motherhood to be more and more exciting, fun and rewarding at every stage. We just returned from the beach. I basically want to soak them both up every single second, like the sun. Look at these two handsome studs!
The May fashion editorial for SouthPark Magazine was probably one of my favorite projects to date. Olly Yung, as always, was brilliant behind the camera. We enlisted native Charlottean and my beautiful on the inside and out friend, Brooke Hall , to be our model. Mega-star hair and makeup artist gal pal Jami Svay did her thing. So much of this project was about Brooke. Brooke defines embullient beauty, and so it was really necessary that SHE be the model, showcasing the very best fashions I could get my hands on around select original spots in our great city. These images are so life-giving for me. I hope you enjoy them too!
